Create an API key

An API key lets your own code call 10ex as you, without a browser sign-in. Admins and owners can create keys in Settings → API & developer (https://10ex.ai/settings/api ).

Create a key

  1. Open Settings → API & developer and click New key.

  2. Name it for what will use it, for example Zapier.

  3. Pick the access:

    AccessWhat the key can do
Read onlyRead data, never change it.
    MemberDay-to-day work: read and edit.
ManagerAlso launch campaigns and approve actions.
  4. Click Create key and copy it right away. 10ex shows the key once. If you lose it, revoke it and create a new one.

A key never has more access than the person who created it, and never admin or owner access. If that person is removed from the workspace or their account is disabled, their keys stop working immediately.

Call the API

Send the key as a bearer token:

curl -H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY" \ https://api.10ex.ai/api/v1/users/me/permissions

Keep keys out of web pages and public code. Send the key only in the Authorization header, never in a URL.

Every call uses the same permissions and credit charges as in the app. A key can’t create or revoke keys, and it can’t change accounts or passwords.

Revoke a key

In Settings → API & developer, click Revoke beside the key, then Revoke again to confirm. The key stops working at once. The list shows when each key was created and last used, so you can spot ones that are no longer needed. A workspace can have up to 20 active keys.

What to expect

The API is the one the 10ex app itself uses. There is no separate reference or version guarantee yet, so endpoints can change. If you need something stable, tell us at info@10ex.ai.
